Returned their phone call and they started asking me to verify my personal info, I ask what the nature of them calling me for is and all they would tell me is it's a personal business matter, I've seen to many friends have their identity stolen in this matter. If you can't tell me the nature of the reason you're calling me while I'm at work or while I'm asleep, then you dam sure don't need me personal info

Thank you for your comments. As an industry, we wish the CFPB would provide guidance on procedures such as this that all collection companies could utilize & be compliant. To determine whether a debt collector needs to disclose the purpose of the call, she must first determine whether she is speaking with the right person. The FDCPA prohibits disclosure of a debt to anyone other than the consumer. We try to verify some piece of personal information to ensure we have the right person on the phone. Spoke with Maxi she said she couldn't tell me about the garnishment I would have to call RMC. Google them and call who do they send me to HER. Scam!!! Never received any letters from them. Liars!!!

Contacted original debtor, I had all ready paid this. Have a receipt for it. They said sorry, the account was bought by RMC. RMC said the account is open and the full amount (added charges) needs to be paid in full. Not pleasant on the phone, willing to argue and downgrade you. It is you, check with Mena Medical.
