      Somehow this bank was able to access my credit report without any notice or permission and I received an alert stating that there was an inquiry affecting my score. This is identity theft and fraudulent. Beware! When I contacted Sallie Mae Bank, they wanted all personal information including Social Security Number just so I could obtain a letter for Transunion to remove the inquiry. Why would someone trust them with this information after they already stole it and used it for fraud.

      My identity was stolen and a hard credit inquiry has been in my credit for months without this company taking care of what they allowed to happen without my consent, they just said that they wouldn't allow the criminal to proceed with the loan, but they should also remove that inquiry from my credit and they didn't. I will report them to the BBB.
