Tried to get a home loan from Sam for an urgent move. Sam was ridiculously difficult to get ahold of the entire time, and let me know reaching out for info was a nuisance. Instead of just telling us outright all paperwork he needed from us, I was constantly pulling teeth with him having to reach out and see what the next steps were. I asked him multiple times what timeline I could expect to know about our pre-approval and he wouldn't answer. Finally I had to hear from our real estate agent that he called her to say we didn't qualify for a home loan --which of course this part was not his fault-- but I asked her for more info and if he mentioned to her if he would be calling us with any update. She said he told her he'd call us to give us details. It's been a week and still haven't heard from him. This man lacks any sense of customer service or professionalism, don't waste your time with him.
