      I have been an account holder with Santander for over 10 years. They tried to charge me $10 to change €40 to dollars. Bank of America does it for free, but not for non-customers. You'd think Santander cared more about its customers. The banker in here only said in the way of explanation "we're a for profit bank". Yes, you've been making a profit from me for years, try doing a bit of customer service once in a while. Pathetic and vapid, actively hostile customer service. Don't bank here.

      Don't Bank with Santander or this branch. They wasted our time for over 45 days for a simple loan. We were approved right away but they still gave us the run around and at the end they basically told us that they need to do another hard pull on my credit and re do the entire application due to some error on their back end. Go to a Credit Union or a smaller bank, these guys are to big to care about you.
