This branch Penasquitos is specifically welcoming and customer service friendly. I do need to regularly come in, and I appreciate the genuine kindness of the tellers and the manager. They remember me and are always helpful in addressing any needs I may have. I am not the biggest fan of SDCCU’s phone system, but going into the branch is always easy and, to be honest, an enjoyable experience.

Why is your website so terrible? It times me out and logs me out when I am actively downloading statements. Then it will not allow me to log back in, but times out repeatedly after entering my user ID and pressing the Log In button. Want to contact SDCCU support by email? Well, you can only message SDCCU if you are logged in, so if you can't log in then what? Downloading statements takes already takes forever since they can only be downloaded individually through many clicks, then individually manually renamed since the PDF files are given the unhelpful name of "download.pdf". A process that should take a few minutes is going on 2 hours and counting. Thanks, SDCCU, for making your website so "secure" that it is completely inaccessible for me.

This is by far the worst bank I have ever worked with not this location specifically but this whole chain is garbage. Apps are hard to work with and navigate. Establishing an outside bank transaction is a joke compared to other major banks. I am constantly locked out of my account because they want verification codes through text or email and even when I'm on deployment and can not get this information them and they are unwilling to work with me on this. forget calling their help line for technical assistance you will wait on the phone for awhile on hold.... Talking my business to USAA and Navy federal credit union.
