      I do not know Sidney Finkelstein personally, (though I have heard good things about him) so my review is based on the quality of service I have received from Mr. Finkelstein's accounting firm: For many years, my fiance and his family have used this firm for their accounting needs. About 10 years ago, I found myself in need of a new accountant after the one I had relied upon for so many years decided to retire. Needless to say, a feeling of panic set in when tax season rolled around and I didn't have a new accountant lined up. That's when my fiance (then boyfriend) convinced me to make an appointment with Aster Getahun, one of the CPAs at Sidney Finkelstein's office. He and his family trusted Aster - and soon enough, so did I. Not only is Aster knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and thorough - but she's also genuinely kind, warm, and welcoming. Crunching numbers all day and memorizing tax code is my idea of Hell, but somehow Aster can crack a smile while her fingers are furiously clacking away at her calculator. She seems to actually enjoy her work - or at least not hate it. Judging by all the filing cabinets and binders in her office, Aster probably has hundreds of clients. Surely a number of those clients are quite important and they require a lot of attention - but Aster always manages to make time for me and my fiance. The two of us are a greasy, grimey, and unmistakably blue collar couple, but she has never made us feel like we were insignificant or unimportant. Aster is a busy woman, yet somehow she manages to remember little details about our lives. Not only is Aster a pleasure to deal with, but in all the years I've relied on this accounting firm, the office staff has been consistently accommodating and cheerful. While it would be a stretch to say that my fiance and I look forward to getting our taxes done every year, it's not a stretch to say that Aster brings a little bit of sunshine to an otherwise unpleasant chore.
