  Faye was kind and helpful in helping me with a stressful situation that was caused by the merger of small townbank and southern states bank. The other woman I dealt with, I believe her name was Cathy, was short and condescending. Cathy is outdated, I felt as if she is living in a different era, not comprehending today's society. Very few people use paper ledgers. This is the digital age, not 1912. During the week of the merger several charges on my account failed to go through resulting in southern states bank to pull out the amount from my checking account a month later with no prior notice. Due to this action my account was overdrawn. We have yet to recieve any copy of transaction reports from our accounts. We had an issue recieving our new debit cards. Cathy had failed to explain the situation, implying it was our fault for not keeping paper ledgers, and her solutions never occurred. She had stated due to the situation I would not face overdraft fees and we would still be able to access up to $200. However, the next day I am charged a fee and our debit cards are declined. We are switching banks once we get everything sorted out. To those of you who have been dealing with similar situations I recommend discussing the situation with Faye and not Cathy.
