  I just needed to call out how impressed I am with this bank, and how the customer truly comes first. I was unhappy with the way my home loan was being handled from a different location and was having some issues securing my mortgage with a rigid closing date ahead. Deborah Vaughn, the regional area manager, reached out to me and then stepped in and took care of all issues that were occuring and assured me all would be fine. She was a woman of her word, and she ironed out all wrinkles in the process. I am now a happy homeowner thanks to South State and Deborah's hard work for me, the customer. Thank you! 🤗

  Excellent service! Was not happy when my old bank, Harbor, merged with CenterState until I met their people at the Sarasota location just north of Mound St. I’m a fan now!

  Gateway describes itself as "How Banking Should Be" and they really live up to that! From friendly and professional service and excellent banking/lending offerings to being totally committed to community service, Gateway is tops in my book!
