I met a new hire employee and she highly recommended space coast credit union and gave me several reasons why I should do my banking here. I went last Friday and opened an account. I've had 3 loans with them. A large RV, my wife's car and my pickup. In all cases, I paid off the loans early, never late. My credit history is superb. I called to get a boat loan this week. Even though I have 2 accounts, they said they had NO INFO ON ME. Nothing about my history, etc. "Nicole" said Underwriting is going to have to start from scratch.. They wanted my last 2 years of financials, drivers license, social security card, bank account balances, etc. They said I was approved based on them RUNNING MY CREDIT, but they couldn't even tell me what rate. Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. I cancelled the whole thing and will work with another credit union/bank that actually wants my business.
