  I have been with this Cranford Branch for good 7 to 8 years. This branch used to be excellent when Vinnie was there. Now the manager is just sitting and is on the phone all the time. She is in for money not that she likes the job. Just Yesterday dated February 9th 2021 I needed to withdraw some cash from my savings account. I called the teller btw they all know my wife very well. Requested her that my wife is coming please cash my small cheque. The teller asked the person in-charge and the lady refused. Knowing that I cannot even walk. The answer was make a cheque in her account and than she will be able to cash it. When asked what would be the service charge the answer is $7.00. My wife called the corporate and customer service informed her that she could have transferred the money from one account to other. In short I went to bank limping. I have done seven property closing thru wire transfer. This bank does not deserve business. I am going to close all my accounts. With the passage of time this bank is the worst bank in the neighborhood. Good luck with this Manager of yours.

  Long term Spencer Savings Bank customer. The new management and staff in the Cranford Branch is great! Since the Garwood Branch closed, I used to dread going into the Cranford Branch because the management and staff were introverted, unfriendly, and not helpful. Now, just after a few visits, the new staff treat me like a valued customer and it makes going to the bank fun again (my dog even likes coming with me to the bank because she gets a biscuit from the window teller!!). From a loyal customer, this was a welcomed move to change personal here!!!!
