  Contacted this business after soliciting local recommendations- my first year filing taxes as a Virginia resident. The secretary had me resend tax documents 3 times as they weren’t clear she stated. On the 4th try - I finally provided clear .jpegs (she was on the phone with me as I sent them to her to ensure we’d clear documents to file). She stated we finally got clear copies. After 5 phone calls over the course of 8 working days It was a go! As the filing deadline was approaching weeks later I called them to ask when the tax docs would be completed. The secretary stated that “oh we don’t have clear tax documents and you’ll have to drop them off. “ they never contacted me to state that they needed better copies- (so this was my 5th attempt to get them documents !) I was agitated because my entire reason in sending .jpegs originally in the first place was to avoid leaving work to drive the 30 miles to bring them to them. Now they wanted me to yet again send docs - which would’ve been my 5th attempt to get my taxes to them. Excessive in anyone’s book. When I expressed my frustration- she rudely “ shut me down” and passed me to mr shackles who then in turn told me that I “can’t speak that way to her” (no swear words were said- honestly) who told me to go back to DC to get my taxes done. apparently she was too delicate to handle a frustrated client and not smart enough to identify clear tax documents or properly follow up with clients ) I later heard from locals that he’s overextended and just can’t handle the workload. Whatever the case may be it’ll be a cold day in hell before I reach back out to this company . Unprofessional and seemingly inept. Found someone else who is super spot on , genuinely nice and smart, efficient, and lastly- professional

  I am sorry for your frustration with our service. I do hope you understand that I couldn't prepare a return with the pictures, taken with your cell phone that were submitted. I have to be able to read the documents that are submitted and I could not. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience.
