      My daughter recommended this company after a 6 week search for a local fence company near Lake Norman for my brothers father in law who just bought a new property near Mt. Ulla. Of the 4 real and numerous wannabe fence companies I reached out to not one could not give me any kind of definitive time frames on the installation of the fence we needed for his dogs. Two of the more reputable companies seemed eager to be able to get it done but when I asked specifics they said it was impossible to determine because of supply chain, especially for special order color we were looking for. The handyman companies didnt even want to quote it. When I called Superior they said the special order for the color ways he wanted were up to 12 weeks or more and they were able to give me some reasons and examples because they do so much of the work in house. I went ahead and ordered the fence through them. When it got closer to the time we expected to get the fence installed I reached out to April and she let me know it was going to be about another 2 weeks. She explained again what was going on and let us know that the special order was still being processed for delivery at the manufacturer. Honestly, I was starting to worry that what the other fence companies has said would happen with unavailable product were happening to us even after Superior assured us they were confident they could get it done. I asked about that and she offered an alternative but assured me they would stay on top of the special order and would put some fire under it. About a week later the material had arrived and they were looking to schedule us. They finally came out a week ago and got rained out. I was informed that they would return asap and they would keep me posted. I got a call two days later for the reschedule later in the week and they came out an finished the fence. All is good and everything looks and works great. I learned through other dealings with some of the contractors in NC that sometimes patience would pay off and it did for us. Mostly because they never tried to cover their butts or be anything but honest in their communication. I never once felt like they were trying to BS their way through the process. Even though it took a little longer than originally expected to finish the project I always felt like I was being treated fairly and like a real person. I am giving them 5 starts and would give 10 if I could for such a comfortable experience even though there were some hiccups that really weren't anybody's fault. I can only imagine what chasing this thing down through these other companies would have been like. Glad we found them and will definitely use them again if I ever need another fence.

      Rep. raved about their companies reviews then sent out 2 installers that did not speak english and were not employees of Superior. Just 2 people they hired to do this job.The install was 4 board horse fencing and of coarse the rails were to be in parallel with each other. In one 8' section alone the rails were off parallel by 3 inches. I fired the crew on 3rd day and finished myself. Look at their ad and do the math. 3,000,000 feet of fencing each year. Nearly 600 miles. Really? Is that a consolidation? Their website lists 50+ locations. Consolidated that's only 60,000 feet per location. I had over 10,000 feet of board on my property alone. So big deal. If consolidated why doesn't Concord location post just their reviews instead consolidating them with 50 other locations.Some may be all 5s and another all 1s. If not consolidated and Concord actually installed 600 miles of fence last year, ask yourself, when was the last time you saw one of their trucks? That's 20,270 feet per review. Four miles/reviewer. Where are the rest of the customers reviews? How selectively do they solicit reviews? I do believe they, at times, do good work but my suggestion is, read the 1 and 2 star reviews and believe them. One thing for certain is the bad ratings aren't written by the company! By the way I didn't get my money back either.

      Mr Rimbold, we bent over backwards in an effort to please you. Our outside sales rep (who has over 20 years experience) made many special visits to your property to measure, and then remeasure your project. You hired us to install 3-Rail ranch fencing. But after our crew installed all of the posts (the hardest part of the job), you stopped our crew from working and demanded that we install 4-Rail instead. After receiving the change order for the additional rails, you elected not to move forward with the change. Instead, you requested that we install as many rails in a 4-Rail configuration as possible. We did so and you signed off on the work and paid us in full. Later we learned that you purchased the additional rails yourself and attempted to hire our installation team directly “for cash on the side”. What we do is very hard work. Digging holes through hard clay in the heat is not for the faint of heart. You took advantage of my company and then attempted to exploit my installation crews. I’m not sure what has prompted you to suddenly provide a bad review 10 months after we complete the work, but our amazing team does not deserve it at all!! Please consider removing your unwarranted and unfounded review.

      Our house was built with a standard 4' aluminum fence in the backyard, installed by the builder's contractor with a gate on one side of the home. I called Superior for an estimate to remove a 5" section of fencing on the other side of the home -- the side w/o the gate -- and install a gate in lieu of fencing. They said it was their "policy" not to do the job unless they had installed the fence in the first place. I asked for their rationale. None was given. Rubbish! Not "Superior" at all. Inferior.

When it comes to aluminum fences, there are a number of different brands in the market. Unfortunately, each brand constructs their panels differently. At Superior Fence & Rail, we use a very high quality panel constructed and powder coated in the United States of America. Most of our competitors use a lower quality panel coated overseas. Attempting to install one of our gates attached to your panels will not work well because it will not match. Both the rail dimensions and the powder coat color will not look right. As a general rule, we do not like to come behind another fence company’s work because we generally find additional issues with their fence installation. It really is best for you to contact the company that installed your fence and have them make the modifications. Thanks and have a great day!
