      MY grandmother just moved to San Angelo. Moved close to this bank. She wanted to see how it was inside and talk to the people to see how the service was. She asked to change a 20$ for a 10$ bill and a roll of quarter's so she could do laundry. They asked her if she had an account. Of course not, she just moved her. They would not change her money. $20?? Needless to say she walked over to CVS and they changed it no questions asked. She will not be opening her account at Texas State Bank. Even if it is close to her home.

      Ms. Holmes, we are so sorry you and your grandmother had a negative first impression. Unfortunately these days, we have to be careful about exchanging money and therefore have had to implement a policy that we do it only for customers. You will probably find that to be the case at most banks. I think your grandmother would really like the staff at our College Hills branch if she decides it is a convenient location for her.
