      Enjoyed a beautiful, two week rental in Seaside Park through the DiMare group. Everything went smoothly and anytime I contacted Tara with questions, she replied immediately.       I wish I could give Marissa 0/5 stars. Yesterday we had a verbal agreement to purchase a home with her sellers. She asked our realtor to send over the new updated purchase offer that included her sellers counter offer requests. We sent the offer to her and then we were told that they had another offer come in after the verbal acceptance and we would have to offer more if we wanted the house. Totally Unethical!

      Thank you for your review. I understand that you are upset with the competitive market conditions and it can be frustrating as a buyer to bid on a house and it not work out in your favor given the low inventory driving up market competition. However, as I am sure your buyer's agent has explained to you- my fiduciary responsibility as the seller's agent is to the seller. When we receive offers, I have to present all of them and guide the seller to do what is best for them. As you already understand, what you stated here that I was "unethical" is incorrect. I presented the offers to the seller upon receipt and they made a decision based on all facts and what is best for them. If we signed off on your lower offer without presenting the other buyer's contract upon receipt- that in fact would be unethical. I wish you all of the best in the future and hope that you find the right home for you.
