  I have been a customer of Grant County Bank for almost 6 years now and I am so pleased that there is still a chance to work with a small bank these days. Although I have not taken a loan out from them, in terms of retail banking they have been terrific . They are friendly and efficient. And they still hand out dog biscuits for pet owners and Ali pops for parents when you go through the drive-through! I'm so happy to have a local bank

  Wow! This was a real disappointment... went with my sons father to open a simple checking account, because like most banks they will not cash checks for non-accounts holders.... they looked like this was a huge inconvenience to them to start his account. The employees all asked each other if they wanted to do it like "do you want to do it?" "No" until one teller decided to get up and sulk over to help us... she was short when asking if he had ID if he knew his own ssn!? Like she might come across a speed bump to stop the process. There arent any other banks in Davis i dont know if they have the monopoly and thats why theyre so uninterested.. after about 5 audible sighs we finally started the account process..the employee didn't explain one single bit about bank policy or benefits to having the account nothing whatsoever i had to explain to him about minimum balances and about starter checks!!! Im seriously unhappy with the service given to us by this bank and if there was another option for him I definitely would have just walked out. I didnt see any name tags so i dont have the name of the employee to share, but im considering calling their bank president or VP and asking if this behavior is typically. Horrible just horrible!
