      Avoid them for mortgages, especially Jeff Nelson. After being promised a certain loan, doing the full application, waiting weeks, I was then told that they couldn't give me the mortgage I was promised but that I would qualify for a conventional 20% down mortgage. I said ok let's do it. I haven't heard from Jeff in 5 weeks, emailed him several times, left several voicemails to him and his assistant. No one has contacted me. Complete waste of time. At least do me the courtesy of writing me an email to let me know what the issue is. If you value your time, don't go with TIAA/Everbank.
