  Most important: The loan was ready for closing several days ahead of time, funds were wired and in place--no last minute rushing, no internet lender from California whose time (and time frame!) is different than east coast. It was stress-free for all! Tom definitely made my client feel at ease, communicated regularly, and sent videos detailing each step of the process.

  I have never felt so belittled and harrased as I was while going thru the buying process for my new property. Several documents would be requested to be signed by one member on the team at First Heritage for another member to ask for the exact same document. I would tell them that my spouse and I had sent and signed that document and they would say "oh well just sign and send it again". I was even signing and sending documents late in the evening. I did not understand why I had to pay my house insurance policy a year in advance. When I asked why I was told pay it before closing or you will pay at closing.. When I got yo closing they had to refund me money because they over charged me. I did not understand why I had to bring a bank check for my closing costs two days before closing.. It was never explained completely to us. We were mentally and physically exhausted by the time we went yo closing. We felt under appreciated and we don't wish this experience on anyone. We understand Covid changed how we do business but how we were treated is unacceptable and down right mean. Also my Statefarm agent felt harnessed by an incident that was their fault. This company showed very little compassion or sensitivity toward people who were sharing their most personal info with strangers.
