      I had the unfortunate luck of being the seller of a property and Tonius & Lend Smart Mortgage was the broker. Closing took 6-7 weeks. Tonius himself was unprofessional, rude, arrogant and just not nice to work with. In the end his team did get their client funded, but it was very stressful. I was shocked at Tonius’ impoliteness. Speaking with him on the phone was nearly torture. He just was disrespectful and very “proud”. He didn’t have compassion for the situation, and just spoke AT me more so than having a conversation with me.
