  Let’s start by saying I have no idea when my loan is even due. Have an interest free loan through Ashley furniture. They just call me monthly to make my payment which is usually fine. Well this month when they called I was in the hospital very ill with covid. I’m finally better 9 days later so I call to make my payment….they refuse to take my late fee off. I’ve never missed a payment with these guys! Never worked with somewhere like this before and never will again.

  Although I cannot complain about my interest free loan for my Ashley furniture, my experience beyond that was less than desireable. I was led to believe that I "had extra money available" attached to my furniture loan. I thanked them but declined at the time. I decided this week I would give them a call to see what the details were. When I kept asking about the "extra money available" they continued to tell me that that was correct. When they began running another credit application I asked for verification. I was told that it was "extra money" but in the form of a separate loan. I asked multiple times what my interest rate would be and I was told they couldn't discuss that over the phone. I just kept getting told that I could get my fees and interest refunded as long as I paid off early. Turns out that this is only for the month interest is "not used." When I got to the agency, I was asked more questions regarding collateral, and FINALLY told that my APR would be 40%!! Not only did I walk out without my loan shark loan, I now have a hit against my credit for them running the application because I was mislead about extra money on an existing loan, and their astronomical interest is kept top secret. Borrowers beware!!! Two stars only because of interest free loan deal with Ashley furniture.
