  This branch needs to shut down since Linda and the previous bank Atlantic /bbt crew are mostly gone. The new employees are not trained well. I’ve been left at the drive thru for over 20 mins. I would’ve left but she had a check I wanted deposited. I had to park and go inside. She was helping a customer in the building and admitted she forgot about me! I’ve had problems with missing deposits but thankfully had the deposit slip proof. Go up to cove rd or down to tequesta but avoid this branch. I’ve been going here since 2005. So sad to see it failing. Also if you call their hobe sound 546 number their voice mail says they open at 8. This is not true. They never changed their voice mail to their new hours of 9am. Do not stay waiting on the phone or run up there because it is definitely 9am.

  Hobe Sound is a horrible branch, worst experience. Would give zero stars if I could. Been a BB&T customer for 21 years and they treated me like a criminal at this branch. Teller left me at the window for over 15 minutes with no communication she just disappeared. Would not cash a check for me bcse it wasn't in my legal name, although I had all kinds of proof of who I was. Manager was very rude, unprofessional and she needs further training in my opinion. This manager made me want to close my 4 accounts on the spot. Didn't even try to fix the situation, basically didn't believe me. I Went to Tequesta branch, no problem no issues! They happily cashed my check and even commented how ridiculous the way Hobe Sound treated me so terribly and they also apologized for what they put me through.
