  We own the appliance shop next to the bank. They are extremely helpful and greet you when you walk in.

  Before beginning this review I must mention that I have a plethora of personal and business accounts with BB&T for over a decade. Having said that, since I opened my first BB&T account in 2005, I had a great experience with my home town branch of BB&T as well as other local BB&Ts. Since relocating to the Cleveland County area I had to use the conveniently located BB&T in Kings Mountain, NC - since it is the closest one to my residence. After frequenting this local branch for a good year I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with the customer care this bank provides to its partreons. Almost every time I have been there I was treated as an inconvenience; especially to the drive through tellers. Another thing that disappointed me was the lack of (southern) hospitality I was accustomed to with the other BB&Ts around the Western North Carolina area. For a town such as Kings Mountain that prides itself on southern charm, this local BB&T bank strikes me as an oddity in such a friendly town. To be quite frank, I have stopped frequenting this location and had to drive to other BB&Ts just so I didn't have to put up with rude, condescending attitudes from this location. I have even considered closing my personal and business accounts just so I could find a better local banks that does not seem inconvenienced and rude when I show up to conduct transactions.
