  ⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑⛔🛑 Avoid this Bank : Bank personal assisted in a financial "EXPLOITATION" once it was reported to KM police dept. employees assisted in covering it up. This Bank was used by Towery Maurice Burris whom opened an account in mid 2013 after being directed there by a relative whom was a new resident at White Oak Manor 716 Sipes Rd Kings Mtn NC which is directly in the back of the bank. A substantially large account. Burris reported to KM police officers and bank officials that his child's aunt knowingly obtained his debit card while he was under the influence of unknown substances (altered medication). She used the card to make purchases and withdraw lump sums of money refusing to return the card. Bank personnel was alerted yet did not put a hold on the account. 🛑 Twist : Today Sun Trust investigators report Burris never opened an account with Sun Trust Bank.

  I am absolutely done with this bank. I have had so many issues over the years and they never take responsibility for it. Not to mention how many locations that have closed. I thought that with the merger things would get better, but over the weekend I did a mobile deposit of a check from my school, it said it would be available after one business day which at the latest would been Tuesday, July 14th, but then I was notified that the bank has put a hold on the funds and the funds will be available on July 21st, a week and a half after the deposit, this was the last straw for me. My Dad warned me not to bank with them, he has had issues with them as well, but I'm my grandmother's caregiver and I figured it'd make things easier to use the same bank as her. I really regret that now. The check they put the hold on was from CCC, so it's not like its something shady. Usually when I get checks from CCC I take it to the bank of ozarks, the bank the school uses, and cash it there and then deposit it into my bank account, but this time I didn't need the money that day, so I took the easy route that the bank offers, but today when I went to the bank to see what's going on and if there's anything that can be done to quicken the process she told me it could be because I did a mobile deposit. If doing a mobile deposit makes you wait a whole week to receive your money, then #1 they should inform you of that prior to you using the feature and #2 they probably shouldn't offer it at all because its quicker to just go to the bank. This review does not reflect my opinion of the employees that work at the bank, those ladies are angels and are so nice and caring. One of them, I think her name is Norma, I hope I got that right, always asks about my grandmother when I'm there. So I do love the small town feel and I will miss that, but that bank isn't the best fit for me, it's my money, I should be able to get it in a timely manner. I think this small town bank tried to keep up with the big bank's and its customers are paying the price for it. As soon as my check is available I will be switching banks. I hope this helps people make an informed decision on what bank to use and I truly hope the employees don't take it personally, I know you would do more if you could.
