I start most of my days by going to SunTrust. I am not a morning person and I never liked going to banks. Probably because I'm not a very patient person, but the staff here make everything worthwhile. I started my own business and made an account at this branch. I frequently call this branch to ask questions and the staff have always been professional and patient with me. From the day I opened my account at SunTrust, everyone (I mean literally every teller/banker/manager at this branch) has been so helpful and kind. Miriam and Jennifer made me start like going to banks. I swear if there were more people like them, the world would probably be a better place.

With such bad service, you’d swear they were a government agency! The only thing slower than them are (arguably) the DMV. I’d like to extol their customer service, but it’s more like disservice. Not only did the employees appear like they were making every effort to run down the clock on a Friday, but you can tell that they were annoyed by having to do their job. We were waiting for over 22 minutes just to close an account. Of this wait, around 4 minutes were standing in line with one person in front of us & another 3 minutes were sitting in the lobby waiting before being addressed. Once they finally got to us, the wait was even longer. The only silver lining was the fact that we finally closed out our account and never need to deal with them again. At this rate, they’re going to go the way of Barnett Bank. Good Riddance!

Stay away from this bank, I have been charged 4 overdraft fees when I’ve had a positive balance the entire time! They refuse to refund them because only one refund is allowed every two years by “policy”. Guess they can just steal 36 dollars whenever they want. What makes it even more funny is that when I opened an account, they made me sign a piece of paper stating my account wasn’t eligible for overdraft.
