  My 4-star review is for Diana (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her last name.) Diana is the branch manager at this location. I had moved from Stafford to Fairfax and my tax return check had been sent to my BB&T account, the bank had only my previous address listed in their system so they sent the check to that address. I called the Stafford branch very early in the morning and a few days prior to speaking with Diana, I spoke with a male rep that sounded dismissive and didn’t seem to have patience to deal with my problem. I was feeling frustrated having to deal with the IRS as they had me go back and forth between the bank and the IRS until I finally called again spoke with Diana, she was very courteous, professional and she actually listened to my situation. Same day she called me back saying she had information as to where the check had been sent and helped resolve the issue. Diana went above and beyond to assist me in this matter. I am so very grateful for Diana, someone who actually listens to their clients/customers and helps. Thank you, Diana!

  Can’t handle simple wire transfers without “flagging.” The funds went from a real estate law firm from the sale of real estate property. My ex had no problem at his bank with the same transfer. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone at Truist for days. Wouldn’t explain the problem. Took my funds and then couldn’t find it. It’s almost two weeks now, and I am still working on their problem. Its scary when a bank can flag a deposit for no reason, from a well established, local, Stafford, VA real estate law firm, who makes these transfers regularly, take your money, and then not return phone calls. I’m also an attorney, registered in Virginia. Never seen anything like this.

  Average below 2.5 stars should tell you everything. They don’t have a coin counting machine at ANY of their locations. They only accept rolled coins. Staff is clueless as to why random service problems happen, which are frequent because truist is god awful.
