      Went to this Suntrust and was slightly disappointed that the lobby was only open for appointments. I had a large sum of money to deposit and was also in need of a new debit card and I prefer not having to deal with the automated phone service. However the teller in the drive thru, Alexandra, was more than pleasant and helpful to me and deposited my money and even ordered me a new card right there in the drive thru which made my life so much easier. She really made my experience at this Suntrust branch a great one.

      I feel bad doing this but needed to be said. Don’t fully remember her name, she is a bank. White blonde woman named Laura or Lauren. Terrible customer service. Not sure how she is a banker if her patience is so thin and doesn’t want to take the time to listen and understand. I told her my checking account closed BEFORE my direct deposit had came in and that id like to reopen my account and get my direct deposit redirected, like they said on the phone they would do. But Laura or Lauren took it upon herself to not open my account back up, kept saying she needs a manager approval which is understandable idk why she wouldn’t just go get her manager? Confusing…really persistent on pushing me away, so anyways she took it upon herself to mail me a paper check instead of opening my account. I guess she answered for me if I should continue banking with Suntrust. Definitely won’t be opening my account with them because of her poor service.

      Still having lobbies closed at this time into COVID is a cop out. Suntrust is not servicing their clients. And only having the drive thru open 9-4 is also very poor service. I am a business owner and client of Suntrust for over 20 years. To have to take off work to get banking done is not acceptable! But I couldn’t even get the cash i needed because there were 8 people waiting in their cars for the 2 tellers and the ATM and i had to get back to work. Not everything can be done virtually. Suntrust needs to figure it out or they will be left behind.
