  This is a money hungry Bank, they charge 3 $36.00 fees for a total of $108.00 for being $20.00 over draft. They never said the debit card is also a credit card. Would not recommend.

  I have been with Trustco for 7 years and a loyal customer. I shut down my account with this comical conglomerate because they are constantly changing their policies with their checking accounts. When I started with this banking outfit the requirements for a checking account was to have a minimum of.50 to open the account NOW the minimum is $500.00. Now I ask you after, all these years and all the penalties they have charged me THEY OWE ME MONEY!!! They change their policies at without any notice and the next thing you know they are taking $25..00, $5.00, and I am through with this nonsense! FREE CHECKING THATS A LAUGH. They had told me that free checks was part of the promotion well, that’s another joke. TRUSTCO printed the 1st set of checks wrong and when I bought them into the branch they told me I would have to pay for the 2nd set so there I was stuck and ended up paying for the so called FREE CHECKS. DONT FALL FOR THEIR SCAMS. READ THE FINE PRINT AND AFTER YOU READ THE FINE PRINT DONT BANK WITH THESE BUNCH OF JOKERS!!
