Two weeks ago, yesterday, I had to forfeit my bank card because a young employee at Sprint Mart in Columbus MS made a bad decision to use my card to pay her cable and power bill. When out of town and I have no access to a bank - I have money waiting on me in PayPal, but because my only way to get paid is through my bank card, I can’t get it. Am I being unreasonable to believe that my card should have been in my hands two days ago? Yesterday, 10:00 a.m., I called the credit union to find out what date my bank card was ordered. I was told that the person who ordered it had stepped out and would call me later. No return call, so I called again today to speak to that person. She said that the only person who could order the card was on vacation and would be back Tuesday. AND then I was informed that My name was NOT on the list in which replacement cards had been ordered! 😳😠😤😡😭😭😭

Staff is very nice. However, this bank is a little dated. The way things are done and the way the accounts update is how things were done 20 years ago. Your account does not update as it should for sometimes 3 days after you make a purchase, if you make purchases on the weekends, it doesn't show up until Monday, and, your account will not update until theu open. Most banks provide instant updates of your account information. Just a lot of hassle. Overdraft fees are kind of high too.
