Same experience as another recent reviewer. Was offered a laughable $150 for a MacBook Air with an M1 chip, barely used in Mint Condition.. I could sell my 2011 MacBook Air for that price.. Was told that the value on eBay was $300.. went to check myself, and you can buy literally a broken in half one for that price..Guy "helping" me was beyond thrilled when I told him I was considering pawning it. Was also theatrically shocked when he said the value on eBay was only $300.. Extremely taking advantage of people. Can't imagine how many people they must steal from making over $1000 on their $150 investment....

We apologize if you feel we couldn't loan you enough money on your MacBook. It is never our intention to make anyone feel bad when they come into our stores. We are looking into this situation on the offered price to see if there was a mistake on our part. As for taking advantage of people and offering a lower amount for a pawn (loan). There is absolutely zero benefit for us to give less money as you were intending on picking the item up, therefore we would not have possession when picked up. There are several factors that we look into when coming up with a pawn price including the age of the item, the condition as well as how many of that item we have in our inventory. If it isn't something we can sell due to large stock of it we unfortunately have to pay less so we don't get stuck with an item that depreciates in value (ie: electronics). Again we do apologize and will be thoroughly investigating this situation. Thanks, Twin Cities Pawn Management
