  I got my first bank account with them when I was like 15. After i graduated high school i went out of state for college. joined the military and moved to Texas and then moved to Alabama. I have continued to stay with US Bank but I still call this branch my home branch because no matter where i’m at or what the issue is a friendly person always gets it done for me right there and it’s never a wait for the solution. They always know what to do.

  US Bank apparently requires an appointment be scheduled in order to open even a standard checking account. Why even have store hours if you’re unable to accept potential new customers? How inconvenient and behind on the times this company is, this makes it especially difficult for those people who work more than the old school banking hours, and don’t have a branch location in their town. I’ve been a US Bank customer for over a decade, and I never had to schedule an appointment to open any of my accounts.

There are a few other options to open a new account besides visiting the branch. You may open a new account via usbank.com, or by calling our Relationship Banking team at 800-444-1244, they are open Monday-Friday, 7AM-10PM CT, and 9AM-5PM CT, Saturday, excluding holidays.   Ragan was the most rude employee I have ever dealt with. I came in to make a deposit and after handing it to her, she began texting on her cell phone. I took a call and she stopped texting and told me to take my call somewhere else and went back to texting. Horrible customer service.
