  Hello. Today, Friday February 25 at around 1230 I went to my local US Bank branch in Maryville, Missouri. I wanted to set up a way for people to donate money to my mothers account. All I needed was a way for people to drop off or mail in donations for my mom. She is currently at KU Medical Center under going treatment for Leukemia. She has had an account with this bank for decades. When I asked the clerk she said they couldn't take donations without my mother sharing her account details. That didn't make sense to me. I don't want access to her account. I don't want to withdrawal anything. I just want people to be able to drop off or send in donations that will be deposited directly to her account. I was then told she could open a separate account for donations. Again, that makes absolutely no sense. She already has an account. She is in the hospital for weeks if not months. She cannot come in to deposit money herself. She cannot come in to set up a new account. Even when she does get home she cannot go out in public and risk infection. I don't understand why donations cannot be directly deposited to her account. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was absolutely disgusted at the lack knowledge and empathy in your employees. Perhaps, send the 2 clerks working back for better training. Or simply hire new people who actually have common sense.   Very unwilling to help out with questions. Coming from my own experience working with the public in a Human Resources role, this bank leaves a lot to be desired. Especially when dealing with a Tory or Tori. I should have asked for someone else to help me the second time I called back.
