  *This review is for US Bank and their mortgage products and business practices generally, not for this specific location* We are victims of the CZU fires and US Bank is our mortgage holder. Their policies surrounding insurance claims proceeds are bad faith and likely illegal. They are not releasing our insurance proceeds in a good faith manner. They are requiring us to have professionally drawn floor plans and a signed builder contract before they will release any funds, which is impossible. In other words, I need to have a final work products from an architect before I can have funds released to hire the architect. On top of that, they are requiring us to build a home not only equal in value to the home when we bought it/more than what we owe on the loan (that makes sense and we support that), but with the same square footage and number of bedrooms and bathrooms, which will be all but impossible considering we were slightly underinsured due to escalating building costs. On top of that, they refuse to pay us any interest whatsoever on any monies held in the insurance proceeds escrow account, which is illegal in the state of California. Their policies are clearly designed to hold on to insurance proceeds as long as possible to profit off of disaster victims. Avoid US Bank like the plague they are.
