      Actually one of the most helpful bank branches I have ever been to. They have a level of customer service that you don't find very often (like Nordstrom!).

      Made it really difficult to get copies of prior statements. Don't ever bank here. Chase is 100000x better.

      Avoid at all costs for mortgages, mortgage insurance and HELOCS. We were misled multiple times and overcharged for mortgage insurance we didn’t need. Office staff told us we had no choice but to come in person during COVID to close an account that couldn’t be closed over the phone. When we were there they said we couldn’t pay off the fees for closing a line of credit we’d never used unless we had an Umpqua bank account. Not the first time we’ve seen this routine with these guys. More difficult to close a line of credit than it is to ditch your cable TV or to quit a shady gym like LA Fitness. Possibly the next Wells Fargo scam in the making.
