I left Bank of America a few years ago for Union bank. I so glad I did. The service is so much better and more personal. When my identity was stolen, I had no problem getting help with my accounts at Union. They refunded all the fake charges in just a day. Go here to bank.

Worst bank I've ever dealt with. Manager is rude and argumentative, actually resistant to open more than one account for me! Who cares how many accounts I have? - That's MY choice. Union Banks mail out their ATM cards ("week - ten days - two weeks") instead of creating them in-house - and don't issue temporary ones if it's compromised or lost. Told me snail mail is "MORE secure". Then why use a "Smart" Chip to encrypt everything, if MAIL is more secure? Mail has never been stolen by criminals, right? Complaining to the useless CEO of America's Union Bank was futile. Every Manager of every Union Bank I've had to deal with is rude, lacking customer care and recovery skills; condescending. As hostile as the airline industry! Do your walk-in banking in upscale areas of Orange County, L.A. or San Diego where bank professionals hopefully have their business degrees from reputable Universities, and use developed business and social skills. They should feel privileged to have my 60K in their podunk "bank".
