  Union Bank is what is known as a community bank. They are not a large money center bank. And that's what I love about them. When was the last time you walked into a bank and everyone, from the tellers to the administrative people to the Vice Presidents and the President all knew your name? They visited me 12 years ago and I have been with them ever since. First class personal service is what they are all about. And that includes small businesses, also. I've used several of their products from standard checking and savings accounts to money markets, loans and lines of credit. Just about everything you need you can get at Union Bank. If it ain't here, you probably don't need it. Andy Pinario CPA

  I was called after giving a 2 star review and asked to ammend my original so here it is. The mobile app was not working and I tried to contact the bank before it closed at 4:45. The voice recording said that all reps where busy and if I need immediate assistance to hang on the line, right before saying "goodbye" and hanging up, I attempted again with the same result. I went to the website and saw they had an extended hours number operational until 11pm EST, and when I called "we are sorry the customer service dept is closed please calm again during regular business hours.. blah blah blah" I finally spoke with someone today (during normal hours) and my issue was resolved. As long as you get a hold of someone you issue will be fixed, but they have no 24 hour help the mobile app works most of the time, and it was difficult/impossible to get a hold of someone in the late afternoon, even at the 800 number.

  Union Bank is definitely a 21rst century bank, but with the personal service banks had many years ago. The staff at Union Bank makes an effort to know their customers as individuals and business people. I can always count on being able to speak immedfiately with someone who can advise and assist me with my banking needs.
