      I banked with Essex for years and it was always a pleasure. United took over and they switched my account to a plan that took 10 dollars a month from me. They told me they made the desicion to move my account to the best fitting account. It just so happens it worked out best for them. They refused to return the money they stole from me. I closed my account the day after I found out. What a shame they chose the plan and flat out stole my money. Wish Essex was still around. They were good people

      Plain and simple..I miss Essex Bank Bank. This bank branch is not as friendly and informative as the previous branch. I will not continue to bank with them in 2022. If you are a small business owner..please bank elsewhere.
