  From day 1 my agent Mitch Newman - sounds funny evening saying "my agent" because over the course of only a few days I can confidently say that I would take a bullet for this guy. Above and beyond in every aspect. Every bump in the road Mitch was there to hold my hand and gently caress my face. I'm certain that most of what he provided to me was not in his job description. My Italian Grandma now refers to Mitch as "a good slice of bread" which you'd know if you had an Italian grandma is the highest compliment anyone could receive from her. I have added Mitch to my nightly prayers so that I can thank god daily for putting him into my life. Before meeting Mitch I suffered from mild depression and also had the experience of life that I was "on my own" and alone in this cold world. Mitch took me into his open arms and taught me that there is still love in this world and that I should grant myself a little more compassion and grace for what I'm dealing with. Since meeting Mitch I haven't felt alone a day in my life and my depression is gone (thanks for the vitamin D recommendation Mitch!). Mitch even picked me up off the side of the road when my motorcycle broke down and he took me in, gave me a warm bed and a cup of cider. We even watched the princess bride together and he explained some of the more difficult nuances to understand. I'll forever be grateful for him introducing me to Five Finger Death Punch, a band that is now a staple in my identity. Since meeting Mitch and working with him I have been approached by women non stop (I now carry 2 mountain dews with me just in case I need to share). Thanks Mitch, you are a game changer.

  USAA used to be an organization that I bragged about when talking to my friends about banking or insurance. I don't what's changed with this company, but they are now one of the worst institutions that I've dealt with. This company is filled with 'empathetic' people who all seem to understand my frustration with their mismanagement of my funds and insurance, however they all seem to be incapable of actually resolving anything. This leads me to belivieve that it is a systemic policy problem with the company. Bottom line, there are other banks and insurance companies that are considerably more customer friendly and military oriented. Bank of America is not one of those, though; they're quite possibly the worst bank I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, but that's another story. I've been with this company for 18 years, but their continued decline in customer care has become too much.
