  Truly one of the worst banks I’ve ever done business through. Client of 6 years. I have never once had a bank that allows every single charge billed to your account to come out, regardless of sufficient funds, and then bills out each with a $35 fee. They billed me 6+ of these fees, over and over and over in less than a month, instead of just not allowing the account to be charged as there were not sufficient funds in the account. Additionally, the banking system they use is completely outdated, and they do not have any of the modern conveniences of literally any other banking app. Doesn’t connect to any other apps (robinhood, Apple Pay, etc.). Lastly - their rates are absolutely sky high! Seriously reconsider other options if you are even looking at banking through Veritas. I will never do business with them again.

  We're truly sorry for your frustration, Nick. Auto drafts on a debit card CAN cause problems when funds to cover the drafts aren't available. With our Courtesy Pay system, any time funds are not available, our system pays the item and then charges a fee. You don't have to have our Courtesy Pay; when funds are not available, then the transaction gets denied. But, you'd still get the fee for insufficient funds (AND, you'll get a fee from the vendor that's trying to get their money from your account). Best practices for members (and for those who bank anywhere): Know when auto drafts are to be withdrawn and ensure funds are available. On eBanking, set up an alert for when your funds get low. Finally, keep an eye on your account. If you catch things early, they are much easier to resolve. Talk to us, and maybe we can help. Best wishes, Nick, wherever you bank.
