We fired Veterans Lending Group after months of delays and a myriad of other issues. Poor communication, unfilled promises, lack of expertise, no sense of any kind of urgency, the list goes on. Further, they are not a true local lender, as we were farmed out to Cross Country Mortgage (CCM) after going under contract. CCM is based in the Midwest, with our processor located in Michigan. In stark contrast to our current nationwide Veteran’s lender, CCM set the tone of negativity and disorganization while seemingly being focused on not getting us into our home. As an alleged Veteran lender, this is unacceptable. Would absolutely not recommend.

Worst....lenders....EVER! Signed on with them pre Covid and then got shutdown right in the middle of drafting up plans for our new home. No reason, just quit doing construction loans. Why? Because of COVID. We never had a change in our income. Never over extended ourselves, yet they canceled the loan. Ok, flash forward 18 months. I hang tight with them and resubmit. Nope, didn't like the builder because he changed his name. Seriously! That was all it took to kick this Veteran to the curb after 18 months of hanging tight with them. Most veteran unfriendly loan office to go through. Would not recommend these people to my neighbors loud mouthed dog.
