  We had an exceptional experience with Veterans United and their staff. The level of professionalism and excellent customer service is amazing. From the moment we called and spoke with an agent regarding starting a home loan application it was nothing but exceptional customer service. Their knowledge, dedication and hard work made this the smoothest process we’ve ever experienced in purchasing a home. We submitted the application online and within 30 minutes we had received our first call back with an introduction and steps with what will happen next. It was that way throughout the entire process. Excellent communication throughout! We were able to close on our home in 30 days without any issues and all is due to the wonderful staff that was working with us during our process. Danny, Mike & Crystal thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to your job and fellow veterans, because of you guys our dreams were made reality.   My husband and I love the team in Killeen. However, the loan company (Mr. Cooper) they work with sucks. Every month, we try to pay whatever we have left towards our mortgage principal. When go online, one can clearly see "additional principal" on it for selection. Don't be fooled by it but check transaction history every time an additional principal is paid. Because Mr. Cooper will use part of that fund to pay monthly payment which they can get interest from. Although this kind of incident happened to us when we had Citi Mortgage before, it wasn't as bad as with Mr. Cooper. Just 2021 along, it happened 4 times already. Although I did call in and have all the funds reversed, it is just bothersome that I cannot trust the loan company. I have sent an email asking Mr. Cooper to fix this issue but all they did was apologizing. So VU, could you please help us with this concern? Thank you!
