      I have been with VNB personally well over a decade and with my small business, over 6 years. I will be closing my business and personal accounts with them in the very near future. I called to speak to them about applying for the Paycheck Protection Program as a small business. I was given inaccurate information and told that they would not take my application as I currently did not "owe them any money". While I can imagine that most banks were overwhelmed at the onslaught of applications they received, it is still their responsibility to give accurate information to their clientele. Had I not educated myself on the application process prior to reaching out to them, I would have been convinced I didn't qualify for this loan, when I undoubtedly do. Very disappointed.
