  I was upset that the bank would not take my 3rd party check an gave them a bad review. I was just upset that they froze my account after I tried to deposit the check on the mobile app. I thought that the rule was just a branch or local thing because I read online that you should call your bank branch because it is up to the branch, and because I have never heard of a bank not letting you deposit a 3rd party check. So I figured I would try to deposit it on the Mobile App and see if that worked since I had no other way to cash or deposit the check unless I drove 3hrs. Now I know. I still wish they did not have that policy because I am going to have to drive 3 hrs round trip to get my friend to cash the stupid check. But, I guess I won't cash any more checks for my friends. I talked to the manager today, and he was very nice, and he said my money is not frozen and explained everything to me..

  Excuse for incompetance is amusing! I am a high income individual and have 7 figure portfolio. I just recently refi my home with PNC bank at 7 figure level and apply for a HELOC for $50000 with Brent wood. Not aware of their policy , i did not include my wife who does not work and they turn me down for insufficient income cause they halved my income cause i did not inc my wife. Their explanation is " I did not review your app, you choose to apply solo " i got news for these professionals as i know of NO OTHER bank including the one i just did a refi at many times higher amount did that. SO i guess i am suppose to know their income policy? And i ask if they can just add my wife to get around their secret internal policy which FYI is not published on their site. Their answer is well you have to apply again from the start. This is their attitude and i did reapply at a DIFFERENT bank and they also have never heard of such income dividng policy, and Brent have the nerve to say in a staight face " we are interested in your business! " oh and here is their on line listing which makes their lazy attitude even funnier " we use the common sense approach" . And after they declined it, no one did a follow up call but i did get two emails from this Brant that is meant foir someone else and his non apoologistic reply is " i meant for a different ROy" wow, guess sending emial to the right person is a challenge also! The silver lining is, i got the loan elsewhere at a local credit union, cheaper, and mush lower fees too.

  Couldn’t have been more accommodating, understanding and professional. I had a complicated situation but Leah was extremely helpful, providing a good solution over the phone and then remembered it exactly weeks later when I arrived in person to complete. The transaction was fast and I’m so very grateful. Thank you, Leah and WaFed; you exceeded my expectations.
