  We were referred to Waterstone Mortgage by a friend who was treated with respect by their staff two years ago. Our lease on the house we had been renting was up, and the owners sold it to an investment company. We had only a few months to move, and rent prices in Albuquerque in 2021 - 2022 were skyrocketing. We decided to see if we could finally purchase our first home. Christine Turpen and her entire team took on the challenge. She was respectful, knowledgeable, tenacious, and was able to help finance our new home in NE Albuquerque. We were completely new to the real estate world, and Christine's team were patient and took the time to explain anything we didn't understand throughout the process. Our loan covered a house that satisfies more than our needs with payments we can manage. This was possibly the worst time to buy a home in Albuquerque. We are so grateful that Waterstone was part of our team!
