      I generally avoid banks in general. Credit Unions are better in my opinion. But Wayne Bank, I believe, is the only one in Wurtsboro and the surrounding area that allows you to open a checking account with no fees attached. Usually banks will charge a monthly fee just for having an account. The savings account is not free here. You would need to have at least $200 in the account to avoid a monthly fee. The debit card for the checking account does have an annual fee of $12. That's the only downside but it'll do for now. Wayne Bank is quiet too. The service so far is great. In and out. No problems thus far. Sometimes you just a need a bank close to you in case you need cash and this one worked out for me.
