  This is a great branch. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. They have a drive thru. There is handicap parking. They do not have automatic doors but there is a doorbell to push if you need help opening the door. I'm a wheelchair user and they are very accommodating.

  DO NOT BANK WITH WAYNE SAVINGS COMMUNITY BANK!!!!!! I would like to take this time to inform you of an awful experience I just received from Wayne Savings Community Bank. Now some of you all know I used to work there for almost 11 years. I truly felt like it was my family and that I would retire from there. Boy was I ever wrong when the current President was fired along with many other wonderful long-term employees. Guess giving the company long years of your life and the devotion to something you truly loved didn't pay off. You think when you climb that corporate ladder and keep making more money that you are important or an asset. Nope you are just another body they can replace with someone younger, someone cheaper, but definitely not someone better. During my divorce I withdrew money from my 401k plan in 2019 with every intention on paying the loan back. For crying out loud it was like only $80 a month. I set up my payments for auto pay Feb. 2020 every 2 weeks till the loan was paid back in full after the bank let me go Sept. 2019. In March 2021, Wayne Savings switched their services to a new provider. I never received any documentation in the mail that the trf was being made and no emails of the such. I still was receiving notifications from the previous provider that the auto payments were being deducted from my account, actually receiving them up to Jan. of this year. I received a 1099-R form in Feb. penalizing me on the amount I w/d and interest. Making me account for $5000 in extra income I did not receive the previous year in addition to a $500 plus penalty. I have every piece of evidence to prove my case and yet I am told the new provider is not responsible. Wayne Savings never once admitting error on their behalf or from the previous provider. Just making it a point to inform me that I knew I was responsible to repay the loan back and I did not. Lastly stating that there is nothing Wayne Savings can do. Are you kidding me?? If I was not me and just another customer would things be different? Who knows, all I do know is they are not for me now!!!! I am their customer, and they are not correcting the problem they created without my knowledge. Someone clearly is at fault in this mix of chaos and it is not me. They will soon lose me as their customer and many of my family and friends. Please people see them for who they truly are!!! They claim to be a community bank who gives excellent customer service and values their customers. I do not see this at all.
