  Beware when using this bank because they don’t tell you everything you need to know. For my experience I do not bank with them but was getting a check from someone who did. Before taking over an HOUR drive to go pick up the check I called the bank’s 800 number to see if they’d cash the check before wasting my time and energy to get it. They told me I could but may pay a small fee. Drove to get the check and then went to this branch. When I arrived at the branch a customer at the window was complaining about how the branch tells her on thing the 800 tells her another and the letters she receives at her residence say something completely different. They sent her to talk to the branch manager. Finally I arrive at the window to cash my check and she tells me because I don’t have an account their I can’t. I explained that I was told by the 800 number I could. She went to the branch manager and came back and said well we could if it was $500 or less but since it over we can’t. I asked to speak to the manager and I explained what the 800 number stayed. So when she could of offered to say if you open an account this is what we can do for you etc her response was well it’s YOUR FAULT because you should of clarified the amount! Really? I told them it was a large check not the specific amount but they said it was fine and didn’t state a limit. So then I called the 800 number back and they told me she could of called if she wanted to for the check to be cashed there! Apparently the checks at ANY amount ( before they said $500 this time they said ANY AMOUNT) if the branch manager makes the call to verify etc. Then the 800 number tells me to open an account and they’ll cash it. You couldn’t pay me to bank with that bank after the way I was treated and how hours of my day were wasted!!! I have already made my friends and family aware of how this bank is and wanted to share here as well because apparently this bank can make up their own rules as they go and blame the people instead of their employees for not giving the correct information.
