  SHAMEFUL. REQUIRED that my 81 yo handicapped mother go to DPS & get a Texas ID card to access her OWN safe deposit box!!! Her TX Driver's license expired in 2018 & was told by bank manager that she couldn't " override the system" to let her into the box. My mother has NEVER needed a state ID for ANYTHING until this escapade! I STRONGLY ADVISED MY MOM TO CHANGE BANKS. Like I said...SHAMEFUL!!!

  I wish I could say good things, but after 18 years of business... I think I'm done. I can't say I have ever left a 2 star review for any business but Wells Fargo deserves something for what little effort they have expressed over such a long term. They have multiple locations and friendly local staff (specifically Rhonda - she is the only reason I stayed so long...) but their ability (as a company in general) to retain a loyal customer has failed-failed to a point in which they cannot "fix" it. They do not empower their employees with the tools they need to effectively retain customers. If you are looking for a bank...I personally would avoid Wells Fargo all together. I can't post publicly anything else to avoid any possible lawsuit but I will say there are plenty of banks you can choose to do business with that are respectful and truly value and appreciate your business. So sad to leave this institution over such a small issue...but after all its the last straw that broke the camels back.
