      I reached out to the Melissa Cohn Group of Raveis Mortgage on January 15, 2022 for a mortgage on my property in NY in which I had significant equity and for a construction mortgage on renovations to my home in CT. I stressed that time was of the essence because construction was starting and was assured that the process would go quickly. First, my application was made to a lender who does not lend to a corporate borrower, a fact that was clear from the beginning, but this was not disclosed until a month had been wasted. Now, more than 60 days later, after providing dozens of documents evidencing my credit worthiness, and paying for 3 appraisals, I still don't have either mortgage and every time I reach out for an update I get an email that they will put in a call to the lender. Unbelievably frustrating and completely ineffective. Do not depend on this team!
