He just made us lose 4K because of his lack of care in our taxes. Mr Winke is not a nice person and you always feel like he’s actually doing you a favor by filling out your taxes. I was courteous every single time I went do my taxes with him and he was actually annoyed I asked for my taxes being sent. I found out later that he never did and I lost the window time to fill them out again. This is very sensitive as these are legal documents. It is very sad that he could care less about his customers, I even recommended him to some other friends and had to tell them to not come back to him again.

Back in March of this year I reached out to Winke and spoke with Derrick regarding him becoming my accountant for my small business. I agreed to move forward with using him for bookkeeping, taxes, and converting to an S-Corp. He immediately helped me transfer to an S-Corp, and was responsive to my questions. Over the summer, I emailed him several times for updates on my bookkeeping and I never heard anything. It's now September, and I have called his office and left a message and he never has called me back. I'm really disappointed in the lack of response because I've assumed for the past half year that I had someone who was doing my bookkeeping and taxes (who isn't apparently). If they were no longer able to help me, I would have preferred a letter, email, or some sort of communication saying they could not help me as a client instead of not responding at all to me.
