  Went in to deposit money but this branch has a closed lobby, despite no signs saying lobby is closed to the public and signs saying lobby is open at 9am. I arrived at 9:30am

  Thank you for providing feedback. I have checked with this branch office and they indicate that their doors have been open since 9am, our normal opening time, and the location is fully staffed. I'm not aware of any lobby closures at any of our 10 offices and we are operating with normal staffing in place. If possible, you may wish to circle back to that office to complete your business, or you can visit any of our other local offices for assistance.

  It seems like there is a lot of management and not a lot of people working here. The same people sit around and talk while the same two tellers work. They won’t even stop talking to help or acknowledge customers.

  Thank you for your observation. Each of our branch offices is staffed with persons who are tasked with and have specific knowledge of particular banking tasks. For example, regulatory requirements prevent our tellers from acting or behaving as loan officers; and our loan officers, for similar reasons, do not have access to the resources that a teller requires to perform their job. This is speculation, but the individuals you saw talking were likely loan officers, and while it would have been appropriate for them to acknowledge you, they would not have been able to process your transaction or provide account information to you, unless the business you had with us on your most recent visit was regarding a new loan. Your concern would be best explored with a conversation with the Orchard Park branch manager. A conversation with our branch manager allows us to hear your concerns in more detail and to take proactive action on your suggestions.
