  The home buying process can be a stressful time in the life of a purchaser. We had previously been preapproved by another VA lender and were moving forward to purchase a home. During the process, our pre-approval fell apart due to a detail missed by our loan officer. This error was not enough to prevent us from purchasing, but it was enough to cause us to lose confidence. Our real estate agent highly recommended Matt Wright with Alliance West Mortgage, so we decided to give him a shot. Matt came in with more information in one conversation than we had received in 8 months of working with our prior loan officer. He clearly communicated our options and ensured all funds were verified UPFRONT for a smooth escrow process (a critical aspect for sellers). Matt's fees were very competitive. He even sent us a comprehensive spreadsheet where we could enter the purchase price, interest rate, and any HOA dues to calculate our monthly payments and final closing costs. It was straightforward to use and quite impressive to this wanna-be Excel nerd. It also provided complete transparency giving us confidence in our transaction. Because of Matt's well-detailed loan pre-approval, our escrow after offer acceptance was so smooth that it actually made us nervous. That was just us, and he was right there to reassure us that everything was golden and we were rock solid. It is common for loan agents to get you funded for your loan. Loan officers are not expected to continue to follow market trends and compare them to your loan, which is exactly what Matt has offered to do for us. Completely unsolicited by us, Matt offered to track market trends and let us know when changes arise that could save us money in the long run. Having a diligent, detail-oriented, well-informed team that is on the ball is pivotal to making the process smooth for both the buyer and the seller. Matt Wright was part of our stellar team, instrumental in seeing the purchase of our loan to successful closure in escrow. If you are a buyer looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable loan officer for your purchase transaction, I highly suggest Matt Wright. He is truly second to none.

  Mike Miller was absolutely amazing. He took all of our calls , (and we called frequently) and answered ALL of our questions, without making us feel like we were bothering him.
